Selling my 1978 CB550 vintage build to help pay off my mortgage. I’ve built many custom vintage bikes, and decided since I’m older, not to do a café racer, but something easier to ride with fenders. But I still designed a fantastic custom paint job.
No reserve.
All electronics work, running and shifting. Brand new items:•Battery•Spark plugs•Grips•Oil filter & gaskets•Oil Change•Carb cleaning and float calibration•Valve clearance•Timing check•Custom Paint•Mirror•Engine cover polishing•Carb syncing•Welded a couple holes in exhaust•Chain
Here’s what still needs to be done before you are able to ride it•New tire tubes (recently popped)•Front brake lever mounted (might want to go with aftermarket master cylinder for better fitment. All stock parts remain).•Clutch adjustment. (Removed cover for polishing and never adjusted it. All stock parts remain)•Petcock (Have the old one, but I would buy new)
