Seller Description
Released in 1973 the XJ Series 2 was a face lifted version of the earlier Series 1 and was the last Jaguar saloon to have input from founder Sir William Lyons. This particular November 1978 Australian delivered example is one of the last, production of the S2 would end in April 1979. Delivered new by M.M. Auto's of Launceston on the 6th September 1979 this particular example has been very well maintained by its previous Jaguar car club member owners. The interior is excellent with the woodwork, dash, steering wheel, dials, carpets and roof lining all in first class condition. The original biscuit leather trim presents very well and only adds to the allure of this classic 70’s icon. The car drives exceptionally well as any good Jaguar should, Sir William Lyons would be proud. Any test welcome.
