This mildly modified Honda CBX was on ebay before, and we were promised a deal completion before the auction ended. Ladies and Gentlemen, please have agreement from your spouse, your bank manager, anybody that is between you and a deal on a fabulous bike before you make a commitment to purchase. A retraction on your word just means more work for everyone and questions ato why something as unique as this is relisted. This motorcycle is sensibly reserved, is ready to ride and as the images show, is a very nice and unique example of the mighty Honda CBX. It has wire wheels with stainless spokes, upgraded brakes and the very unique Pipemasters six into six exhaust system. It has a nicely done Corbin seat; and a modified stronger late model swingarm. It also has the benefit of a crate engine, so the engine is finished in black and has the later transmission, upgraded clutch and better primary shaft design. The engine number is SC03E-[hidden information], so originally intended as a 1981 CBX Pro-Link engine. This bike was built by the late Richard Gerhold, also known as 'Dr. Detail' and did win various prizes when it was originally built in Yellow and Red, back then dubbed the 'McBike' we believe it looks very good in its new dress and hope it will go to a good caretaker to enjoy. Recomissioned and ready to ride for the upcoming season and many more; it has good tires, new chain and a fresh oil/filter change.
