1981 Datsun Stanza genuine SSS sedan.

Great project car/parts car/fix up. Last registered ACT (#YER18X) in 2012. Canberra car since new. Needs some work to get running/re-register. Was being built for rallying, dash pad removed and gone. Could still be turned back into a street car with some work. Has sunroof which does not leak. Photos form part of the description, what you see is what you get.
L18 engine with a 5 speed manual (feels like a normal 5 speed not a dogleg SSS box). Has a larger cam (unsure of specs) and apparently head work. Have had it running as is but won’t come with carbies or manifold. Fuel hard lines are clogged so has been running off bottle of fuel in engine bay. Currently has twin Weber’s fitted BUT WONT COME WITH CARBS OR MANIFOLD NO CARBS OR MANIFOLD INCLUDED IN SALE! Does not run as it sits but could with work. Whack a standard manifold and carby back on or whatever you like and away you go. Might need some wiring tidied up as well and a bit of tinkering to get it running again. Has been sitting a fair while now. Has extractors and a 2” exhaust all the way through.
Includes a set of 4 SSS alloy wheels (4th is in boot) with old rally tyres fitted. Has bucket racing seats fitted. Comes with the front SSS seats. Has some upgraded suspension and shocks (unsure of what - yellow springs all round so possibly King Springs).
Body itself isn’t too bad being an inland car. Boot lid is rusty but can be replaced. The worst of the rust is around the rear windscreen but again it can be fixed. Small amount in the rear wheel arches. The rest of the body is pretty good including the rear quarters where they normally rust. The front chassis rails are also good which are known on Stanza's to rust. I have more photos but I could only put 12 on eBay. Please message me your number if you would like more photos.
The car is located in MURRUMBATEMAN NSW 2582. 15 minutes from Canberra ACT. Will need trailer or truck for pick up! Doesn’t run! No carbs! Inspections are welcome and recommended.
