Up for sale isa 1981 Harley Davidson FXWG Wideglide motorcycle .Clear title. Looks to be veryoriginal. Original Paint. Last on the road in 2009. 32,152 miles. Garage kept.The Motorcycle does not run. Turns over with lots of compression. Both kick and electric start.

The previous owner had passed away, so I did not get any history onthe bike. It waspurchased from the widow and she could not find the key for the bike. So it will have to have a key made to try to run.The throttle snapsback. Tanks where properlydrained when stored. After a key, It will need a basic tune up, Carb Cleaning, battery, oil change to properly run again.Stock Carburetor. Shifts throughthe gears. The clutch feels smooth. No signs of it being down. Avon tires look to have lots of tread left. No Dry rot. Brakes work as it should. Insideof tanks areclean, norust. No dents in the tanks.No dents in the front or rear fenders. Paint has some light rock chips. No broken fins or engine damage. As far as thecondition goes, The chrome looks clean. Little to no rust/pitting. Paint shows some small chips. Very light fading of the paint on the top of the tanks. Only damage i can see is oil pressuregauge, the glass isbroken, a very minor thing. Only other think to mention, is the rubber handlebar grommets holding the bars down, have play , so will needtoo be replaced. The left muffler has a battery acid stain on top. Exhaust are solid. Seats has no rips. A very niceoriginalexample of a 1981 shovelhead FXWG Wide glide.Youreceive what is pictured. Would make a great project motorcycle.Sold as is.
