Seller Description

Up for sale is my 1983 Husqvarna 250CR. Bike starts, runs, shifts, as it should. See pictures for details on condition. Suspension rebuilt by Craig at the Husky Club and set up for 220 Vet B rider, forks rebuilt with new wear parts. I have all the original ITC springs etc.. to pass on to the buyer if requested. I also have a brand new still "in the wrapper" plastic Clarke tank I bought for it but never used (stock capacity) I will give to the buyer if you want it. I will hand it off to your shipper, if you need it boxed and mailed the mailing cost will need to be covered. The picture of it in action was at the Huffman Ranch Vintage Grand Prix track in Donie, TX
This motorcycle does NOT HAVE A TITLE. Ebay makes you select an option for the title. "No title" is not an option, clearly Ebay's system was not built with Vintage dirt bikes in mind. Mileage IS A GUESS! Again Ebay makes you enter a number, there is NO ODOMETER and mileage can not be verified.
Texas did not issue "titles" for dirt bikes in 1983. I can provide the buyer with a bill of sale if requested.
All shipping arrangements are to be handled by the buyer. Wolverine Cycle Transport, Southlake TX is local to me and I will drop the bike off with him at no charge if you choose to use him. I will be available to hand the bike off to another shipper if you set something else up through Uship, etc..
International buyers, contact Todd Tarver at SLM Racing/KTM of North Texas in Arlington TX and see how much he would charge you to break it down and ship/box it in a few boxes. (engine, frame, wheels/suspension, etc) I will transport the bike to SLM Racing at no charge.
I cannot "crate the bike" (wouldn't know how) again contact Todd Tarver and ask if they offer that service. KTM of North Texas is an extremely customer service oriented dealership and Todd will bend over backwards to help someone out if he can.
Public service announcement for Novices to Ebay motorcycle buying. I have sold 3 bikes on ebay in the last few months and without exception the winning bid comes in during the last 5-15 seconds of the auction. It's called "sniping". Before you have a chance to raise your bid the auction is over and you have lost the bike by a few dollars. Put in your best bid early. The bid will not go up unless someone else bids.

For example if the bike is currently at $2500 and your best bid was $3000 you will win the bike at $2500 unless another bid comes in. Just do your research on how it works. I sold an RM500 this summer and the guy that was the high bidder for all 7 days lost it by 20 bucks in the final 5 seconds and was heartbroken. I know because he found me on Face Book and told me.
Also, on the last bike I sold the "Buy It Now" price disappeared once a bid came in. I called ebay and asked why and they said once bidding starts the buy it now option disappears, which seems crazy as it wasn't always like that but that's what happened recently. Again call ebay and ask if you have questions, and bid/buy accordingly if you just absolutely "have to" have this unique machine. By 1983 the Jap bikes ruled and not many of these made it into the USA.
Contact me with questions.
Deposit via Pay Pal, and balance due in cash, certified cashiers check, or personal check which will have to clear (up to 7-8 days typically) before its picked up.
