Seller description

Excellent running and riding 1983 Z1000R2 ELR. Everything works as it should, including all electrics, fuel gauge, charging, brakes etc. Low mileage showing, and good original cosmetics. Stored indoors for most of its life.
Recent service including tires, valve adjust, brakes, fork oil etc. Ready to ride.Tank is off 1982 ELR, but otherwise all original to the best of my knowledge.
I was notified by the Texas DMV in 2016 that there was a previously reported 'Brand' on the title from 1991 in Illinois that said 'Rebuilt' when it was titled with 4,496 miles in 1991. The bike seems perfectly straight and rides true and the IL DMV could not provide me any additional information on the reason for the brand, as it was over 25 years ago. They said it could have been a theft, or accident/insurance claim that required a safety inspection before going back on the road. See attached title report in photos.
