This is a late year 1984 Harley Davidson Sportster XLX-6ci 1000cc4-Speedwith 11,017 miles. I purchased it in February of 1986 from dealer with the mileage at 647. It has oil filter and alternator. The chain drive was replaced at 9,350 miles with a stock industrial supply Gates belt and pulley combination. However, if desired, this belt drive assembly can easily be removed and returned to chain drive.The front mount for the chrome chain guard has been fitted for the Belt Drive and thus the chrome is discolored because of the welding;The aluminum front sprocket cover suffered a crack near the foot peg mount but has been satisfactorily repaired and trouble free.The bike is mechanically perfect and is in excellent condition.

Professionally maintained and is approximately ninety-five (95%) original and includes all original parts. The wear and aging is minor/normal for this thirty-six (36) year old bike. The bike is stored in a closed garage and has never been abused while riding or during storage. The mileage is extremely low(see description below for more details). This iron head engine has never been broken down and the cooling fins are perfect. Speedometer cable is sound and working properly along with all other original bike components.The original exhaust has been replaced with chrome drag pipes without baffles. Included is a set of Sportster chrome exhaust with brackets and black heat shields (See photo).The bike is shown with the original solo seat. Included, with this bike, is the matching pad for the solo seat and two seat and sissy bar combinations (see photo. The air filter is a K&N and included are two other air filter and housing options (see photo). Also, included are the original (black)chain guard and (black) taillight bracket and electrical cover along with a chrome rear break master cylinder cover (see photo).
