Beautiful, original low mileage Interceptor. Completely original other than a toggle switch on the dash (see pic), I do not know what that is or was for.Tires are original and in great shape with no dry rot.The bike is currently NOT running due to the carbs leaking fuel from the seals. A carb rebuild with new seals that can handle modern gasoline would resolve the issue.I purchased the bike 4 years ago from the second owner. First owner sold it to second owner in 1986 with 1108 miles. The second owner put the bike in his heated house until I purchased it. The second owner had the camshaft lobes and top end inspected before he got it up and running again. When I purchased the bike I confirmed that it ran perfectly, like new, and then put it into heated storage once again. Two years ago, the bike was fired up and rode 4 miles to a new location, upon arriving the carb seals started leaking badly. Tank was drained and the bike was put back into storage until it could be repaired. I was in no hurry to fix the carbs as it was more than likely going to be a museaum piece. Unfortunately now, I need to sell it and will leave the carb repair up to the next owner if he chooses.
On a scale of 1 to 10, it is a solid 9. It does have blemishes as listed;Right rear turn signal has some marks (see pic)Right exhaust has slight scuff (see pic)Left side of upper fairing has an off color dot (see pic)Frame has some slight surface rust by kickstand which would be an easy fix (see pic)Clutch cover is dented and scuffed and will need to be replaced. Bike was backed into by a car while it was parked! And somehow SHE didn't knock it over (I almost died!) (see pic)
Has original keys, but no books.
Otherwise everything is perfect.

This is the best VF1000F I've ever seen since the showroom in 1984.
