1985 Honda VF1000R "Barn Find" - Title in Hand.21,029 actual miles.
Excellent restoration or period resto-mod candidate.These bikes were way ahead of their time and feature on-the-fly adjustment of both front and rear suspension.
Was [unfortunately] painted by previous owner.Sat from 1996 until earlier this year, thankfully without any fuel.Fuel tank/carbs are clean/no corrosion.Recently(9/18) replaced spark plugs, fuel filter, oil/filter and battery.Needs tires.Has been down lightly on right side - no damage to engine case only light scuffing on fairing.Starts/runs (video available) - could use some carb tuning.All lights/signals/horn work.All OEM body fairings/parts in place sans exhaust (was a popular upgrade due to weight savings) including OE reflectors and fender.*Extra OEM taillight in good condition included with sale.*Speedometer glass is broken but speedometer/odometer still function.
