This vehicle is extremely good for its age. As far as I am aware there is nothing to spend. It drives beautifully.
This vehicle was built in Germany with specific options for a UK buyer where it was 1st reged.,15/8/1985 then sold 1/9/1988 to another UK resident who in December 1989 migrated to Australia and had the Merc., brought out as a private import. I have the paperwork for this import.
On 16/10/1992 it was sold to the person from whom I purchased it on 2/5/2018. I had all the oils, fluids drained, systems flushed where necessary and new filters and oils installed; new injectors; air con., checked re-gassed with new belt; new dash mat (no cracks in dash); new rear hatch shockers; 2 new accumulators for self leveling system; new front flexi plate & centre bearing on drive shaft; Exhaust system repaired with 2 new mufflers; rear brake pads;In Nov/Dec 2011 my vendor had any & all rust professionally removed. As it happened I know the professional who did the work as he did all my paint and panel work on all my cars including vintage and collector cars so I knew he did a good job. My vendor has supplied me with photos of the various stagews of the rust repairs which I will pass onto the person who purchases the Merc..
It has the original 3 way luggage net; load level rear suspension;There are a couple of very minor dents. A RWC will be available on sale but will be sold unregistered.It is local pick-up or for purchaser to arrange own transport. PayPal accepted provided buyer pays all fees & charges.
