Selling a 1988 BMW 528e. This one happens to be stick shift so it’s even funner to drive for you car enthusiasts. I bought this from a diplomat in the embassy I work in who took good care of it up until recently. The car is drivable and runs well for its age but it needs some notable work. Has a little rust on the side as well.
Things that need attention:
He told me that it started to have an oil leak as you can see the picture on the undercarriage side.
It needs a valve cover gasket.
The speedometer doesn’t work
The key doesn’t unlock the door but it’s able to turn on the car.
Cracked dashboard from the sun (common problem)
Leather has tears.
That’s what I mostly know about it and don’t drive it because I don’t have time to fix it.
