Harley-Davidson EVO Sportster with just over 10K miles.A bit of interesting history on the Sportster models...Back in 77 Willie G designed the Cafe Racer inspired XLCR model which was the old pushrod model motor however the redesigned frame was used on all subsequent Sportster from then on.This is a nice example I picked up from an older gentleman who bought it for his wife to ride along. Due to the low miles apparently not very long.
This particular bike was featured in Cafe Racer Magazine a few years back as "FRANKENSWINE" built by Dave Ashenbrener of Legendary-Motorcycles. The featured fiberglass tank has been replaced with an aluminum one in keeping with the traditional Cafe Racer Style.
The rearsets are of Harley's original (XLCR CafeRacer) location; connected to the rear motor mounts.

All the adjustable linkage has been hooked up with quality sealed ball joints. The carb has been replaced with a SUDCO 38mm upgrade which makes for troublefree crisp performance.
This is a professionally built Cafe Racer unlike many you see. It's close enough to stock that it could be put back into a classic style Sportster if you desired but with the attention this gets, why would you.
This is a great "muscle bike" with its thundering sound, not some whimpy whiney little undersized Japanese counterpart.

I was amazed when I first rode one. They're lightweight in comparison and have a highly tuned responsive horsepower feel.
