Seller Description

Toyota LandCruiser 80 Series 1991 HDJ80 FACTORY TURBO DIESEL
I have mixed emotions about selling my dream car, but it's time to part with my beloved 80 Series Land Cruiser. It is priced to sell with a genuine reason for the sale, reality is, it's my weekender and I really just don't get the time to use it whilst juggling a long distance relationship and work commitments.
Genuine offers are welcome, however do not waste our time with low ball offers as I will simply ignore you, I don't care what you think the truck is worth, I know what it's worth and what I'm willing to let it go for. This is a very regretful sale and I'm in NO rush to sell it.
I've owned this vehicle for around 5 years and it has never let me down, all the money has been spent and is ready to hit the tracks or head out with the family and go camping!
The tough and sought after 4.2L Turbo Diesel Engine has recently been reconditioned (50 000kms ago, receipts can be provided) and runs without skipping a beat with plenty of power! I recently towed my fathers Corvette and could barely feel it behind.
Serviced every 5000km since I've owned it, even after my mechanic suggested 10 000 would be sufficient, Unfortunately I only have some receipts.
A lot of the bushes in the front end have been replaced, a long with hub seals and gaskets that have been picked up in services.
Whilst it's well equipped I haven't hit the tracks near as much as I'd want to, for the past few years I've only driven the beast on weekends and around once or twice a week to work.
The mighty 80 has plenty of aftermarket accessories that are all being sold with the vehicle, including
Pros:
GREAT Quality Oricom UHF Radio with Uniden Antenna
Illuminating Boost Gauge
LED Light Bar wired up with High Beam headlights
Tigers 11 ( I think) Rooftop Basket with Ridge Ryder Awning which has barely been used
2 BRAND NEW 33" Summit Mudhog Mud Tyres on the front, 2 on the rear still roadworthy but not far off replacement.
Custom barwork out of Melbourne from Raslarr Engineering - Front and rear bars with swing away tyre carrier - Heavy Duty.
Steel side steps
Safari Snorkel - Fitted by ARB (receipt)
Sony Headunit with USB and AUX capability
VERY cold A/C - The Clutch on the compressor has recently been replaced (receipts)
Third row seats are still with the vehicle and are in good condition
Heater works - HOT
3inch exhaust for that tough truck sound, but not too loud.
Aftermarket Redback ( I think) Dual Battery Solenoid (I think I still have the receipts)
BRAND NEW Battery (receipt)
Many more that I simply cannot remember!
I know it all sounds too good to be true, and I'd be lying if I said it was perfect (It's pretty bloody close!)
Cons:
The paint has seen better days with the usual roof fading and some chips here and there, I'd suggest it's almost the original paint.
The steering is slightly sloppy which I've been told is the steering box that possibly needs reconditioning which apparently shouldn't cost much.
The rear tailgate has a slight dint in it, but it is well hidden by the rear tyre carrier, and wouldn't take much for someone to pop it out if they knew what they were doing.
The rear tyres are needing close to replacement, and the spare is only really good for a spare.
I'm sure I've missed some stuff here, but it is definitely worth a look. This is the last of the great land cruisers before they changed the front ends and went to IFS.

The last of the legendary 1HDT motors that everyone is looking for.
I'm always willing to answer questions and don't hesitate to give me a call.
