Seller Description

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BIDDING!
FOR SALE TO HIGHEST BIDDER: 1995 FORD RANGER 4X4 SUPER CAB XLT V6. PARTS OR REBUILD.
Far from perfect, but looks very respectable. One-family vehicle since the day it was purchased. Truck starts, runs, drives, stops, shifts, 4x4 works properly. Never in any accidents. Every inch of willow green metallic paint on the body was applied by FoMoCo at the Edison, NJ assembly plant on February 27, 1995.
An exceptionally well-optioned Ranger XLT that comes with the original window sticker showing the 1995 sticker price of $23,154.00. If you check, that's the upper end sticker price in 1995 for a Ford Ranger.
This truck looks very respectable. 121,000 actual miles. This truck is nice and could have potential to live again, but it is NOT CURERNTLY ready to be anyone's daily driver. PLEASE read this honest and complete description carefully before bidding:
The Bad:
Heavy surface rust on frame. No holes or rust through, but I would NOT recommend anyone takes this vehicle out for a 4x4 rally or load it with a ton of bricks. Rust in exhaust from H-pipe to rear of catalytic converter. Has some small rust-through spots and spots that have been repaired with muffler cement. I do not believe the existing exhaust system will pass another PA inspection. Regardless, there are no gaping holes in the exhaust and it is not loud.Tail gate does not open. Rods connecting the handle to the latches have come undone. Pulling the handle does nothing. If you put more than 3/4 tank of fuel in the truck, there is a slow leak; also drips at the neck when you add fuel. Half a tank or less and there are no problems. Both window motors operate when you press the button. Track rollers are very worn or broken. Windows MAY go down on their own but will NOT go up without pulling on the glass manually. If you put the windows down all the way and the glass goes completely into the door, you have a problem. Truck starts up immediately when you turn the key. Will idle rough at low speed for at least ten minutes before it is fully warmed up. After running for about 30 seconds, if you give it gas it will run smooth at high idle and you can put it in gear and go without issue. If you let it drop down to low idle too quickly, it will stall.Power locks lock automatically when you push the button on either door. They will NOT unlock unless you manually pull up on the plunger at the top of the door. The headliner is SHREADED. Lots and lots of small rips from age.Air conditioner does not blow cold.Small rust-through area in lower right-hand corner of tail gate (see photo).Minor body damage to lower right edge of bed (see photos).Has optional remote lock/unlock on Ford key fobs (two factory-original keys and fobs included with sale). The fobs do not activate the locks. May be the batteries, but your job to check. The radio "off" button does not work. Radio works just fine. AM/FM, presets, sound, volume, tape deck, etc. But all you can do is turn it down, but it does not go off. Not wired to the hot side of the ignition (Ford's design, not mine) so when the ignition is shut off, the radio goes off.
The Good:
Starts every time. When properly warmed up, runs fine and drives reliably at highway speeds.Strong 4.0 liter optional V-6. All six cylinders fire smooth at driving speed.

Optional four-speed automatic with overdrive shifts properly without noise or hesitation.Optional 3.73 limited slip differential operates silently.4x4 engages and operates properly in high and low range. All four Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires have good tread. All four Ford-optional sport wheels have light corrosion, but no visual damage, repairs or scrapes. All lighting and electrical works properly. Including the factory-installed alarm.
Other than the front and rear bumpers that were replaced due to heavy rust, and the battery, every part on this truck is FoMoCo. Zero body, interior, mechanical, or electrical modifications of any kind, ever. ZERO. NONE. EVER!! As stock as the day it was built. Many mechanical parts have been replaced over the years, but they were are all FoMoCo-supplied replacements.
Brake shoes, rotors, and pads have
