Seller Description
1998 AMG style SLK, AMG wheels & badge, carbon fibre trim. Good runner, everything works but a/c probably needs regassing now. Was previously written off as a result of a broken rear bumper (AMG bumpers are expensive). Front wings are rusty round arches as shown in the photos, rear arches are pretty good. It looks as though a battery was tipped over on the bonnet and spilled down the grille at some point. Some muppet has keyed the nearside. I have had 6 years of fun with this car whilst a sporting injury has been healing, I am now returning to my sport but cannot fit my gear in this car so I have ended up with an estate. I would love to keep this car but wife says there isn't room for a wife and another car so it has to go. I asked if the car went if there was room for another wife but that was a no as well! Probably cheapest topless fun you can have without getting arrested. Viewings welcome but do not leave it until the last minute to arrange, if you want to drive it you will need to bring a copy of your insurance with you.

The car is relisted because the last buyer did not turn up at the arranged time to pick it up and has subsequently failed to pay for it. As a result of this messer a 10% non-returnable deposit is required by BACS within 24 hours of auction end. No deposit, it gets relisted.
To answer some of the questions that were asked during previous listing:There are two remote keys, both work the central locking remotely and in the drivers door lock.The gearbox works absolutely fineThe roof opens and closes perfectly and the luggage cover interlock works as well.
There is nothing mechanically wrong with the car, it runs and goes absoloutely fine.The body needs tidying, front wings, some damage to front and rear bumpers, paint damage on bonnet and grille, key scratch along nearside all shown in photos.Interior is all good, no broken bits. Drivers seat side cushion could do with leather treatment/colour as it has started to wear through the dye.
