Needs nothing, good tires, good brakes, runs and handles excellent, 1 owner 1999 Harley Davidson Super Glide Sport FXDX w/ Diamond Ice factory paint and in hard to find excellent condition as is clearly visiblein pictures, only produced for 3yrs and bound to be another Harley Davidson collector motorcycle, I do have a collector Harley in another listing for sale too that can be seen in a pic here, been very maintained well and has only 12,100 miles, nothing but Mobil 1 full synthetic for air cooled V twin motorcycles used since break-in miles and warranty expired1st yr, everything'sbeen serviced last fall before storage so all synthetic oils and filter won't need changing for another 5000 miles and 7500 miles tranny and primary, has synthetic too, and it has a KnN washable reusable performance air filter.

Options include a Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle front fork brace and a 6 position Aluminum steering dampenerand the rest of the suspension has been upgraded with Progressive rear performance shocks and front fork springs that lowered the bike by 1-1/2 " and has the optional Harley Davidson quarter fairing w/adjustable windscreen and the lower optional Harley Davidson air dam directing cool air where it needs to be, has narrower handlebars too and a comfy low profile Lepara seat with low profile backrest it you ride passengers but if not this Lepara seat has the removable passenger seat leaving it solo with nice Mustang bibb already in place as seen in one pic and as is now setup, of course it come with the back seat section and backrest, it also has a battery tender pigtail installed and comes with a originalautomatic battery tender too. Bike handles well for a Harley and allengine power improvements were all done at a dealership when the bike was only a couple of years old and to start with the stock dual cams that utilized a chain, gears and nylon tensioners to keep them tight and timed have all been long time completely removed and replaced with a SnS direct gear driven 510G cams and to compliment that upgraded to the HD Screaming Eagle high performance ignition system witha 6200 rpm rev limiter, at 6000 she screams and pulls real hard all the way never misses a beat not that you need go there, its always a blast to ride without ever needingto ever be racing it, has lots of power band in any gear.Has the Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle plugs and Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle 8MM ignition wires and the Thunder header really screams out loud and clear. Carburetor was re-worked with the adjustment plug removed and Thunder plastic slide kit installed and all Dyno jetted and has additionally a Thunder high top diaphragm cover kit which gives the slide more slide for more fuel, this bike has been Dyno tuned twice, 1st with all improvements done but no Thunder header just the stock pipes with the plugs removed and best run pulled 87.6HP with 86ft lbs torque, the tech who did all the performance improvements told me to put a Thunder header on it saying I'dgain a lotmore power and torque so I spent the $800 more had it installed and carb adjustments made so next time with the Thunder Header and adjustments it pulled 92 hp with 90ft lbs.torque so its not your grandfathers typical Harley Davidson, she may idle just about like stockafter warmed up andexcept for the sound but she does not like to be lugged and or pussy footed around, she loves to run and pulls like a dream if needed and its just a fun good Harleyto ride, don't let the model year fool you.I'm getting old and am physicallydisabled and now my hip is failing too so anything and everything is hard to do especially trying to keep these bikes clean and maintained, I gotta give up and let em go, there will be no regrets or disappointments with this motorcycle purchase.Comes with original owners manual, Clymer repair/maintenance manual, a performance projects manual that you won't need and a small Harley Davidson leather strap on pouch for front fork or rear backrest mounting, the best of show trophy was won by this bike but I'd like to keep it unless you really would want it, also has a bike cover too but its nothing special.
