G’day
I am selling my beloved weekend drive a 1999 Mercedes
(W210) e320 Elegance Automatic.
I have done a lot of research to find the right Mercedes
for me. I have looked at cheap ones and more expensive ones.

I was after a low
KM car that was well maintained. I did not want a car with a tow bar or LPG. I wanted all books,spare keys, first aid kit, tool kit and the warning triangle etc. When I saw this car I knew it was the right
one. It is in near immaculate condition, has always been parked inside and has
always been serviced in time. It was owned by an elderly owner whom had passed
away. I bought this out of his estate.
After I bought it I had it serviced and had all spark
plugs replaced. There are 12 of these things (The Mercedes E320 comes with a twin spark engine for better fuel economy)and I have bought the very best
ones. I also had the spark plug leads replaced and as I said a major service included the serpentine belt.The windows were tinted with the best darkest legal tint and I bought new very dark grey custom made floor mats.
I did not like the stock wheels and the stock height. I
had it lowered with Bilstein coils by about 1 inch. I did not want a belly scraping impractical car.
I wanted a better stance. I bought the genuine 18 Inch Mercedes CLS wheels and had brand new
staggered tiresinstalled. Front is 235 45 18 and the rear has 265 40 18.It’s in near immaculate condition, has new tires, service is up to date, will have new rego and RWC.
It’s really good on fuel and not due for a service any time
soon.
Why I am selling my car? I have been offered another
position within our organisation. I now need to drive a few dirt roads to get to work. I just don’t want
to do that with my Mercedes so I am using my Campervan at the moment to go to
