You have found one of the nicest LS model Lincolns available. These touring sedans that preceded the MKS are becoming very desirable, especially the 3.9L V8 version as this one is equipped. There aren't many left that are not miled out, wrecked or are in 'stock' condition. This car shines above the rest, not only is this a garage kept, 100% corrosion free Southwest car, it has had just one owner, it has never been damaged, never had any paintwork and has never been modified. This car is absolutely original right down to the windshield. Of course, the car has a newer battery and a nice set of top quality Michelins but it is just as it was in the showroom when new. The car has a spotless, accident free history and it was owned by a non-smoker. Hard to find better than all of that but it is, just under 46000 original miles since new, amazing. Please read my description below and enjoy over 120 full sized, high resolution photos, including several of the undercarriage and suspension that show the car is rust free, original and has never been damaged.
The body of the car is laser straight with absolutely no dings or dents. There are a few stone chips and a few very small blemishes that are hardly noticeable, you will be amazed at the quality and depth of the shine on this car, absolutely no fading anywhere on the original finish. Glass is excellent, crystal clear all the way around and has never had any window tinting on it. Aside from a small blemish on the top of the grille, all trim is in impeccable shape. Headlights show less than minimal aging, still nice and clear, all lights are in nice shape and full working order including the factory fog lamps. Tires are really nice quality Michelins and they have better than 75% tread depth remaining all the way around. Factory alloy wheels are really nice as well and all center caps are there.
The interior is just amazing. It looks like it has 4600 miles, not 46000. It smells brand new as well, absolutely no tobacco, pet or musty odors, just the aroma of fresh leather. Carpets are devoid of any staining, headliner and visors are excellent. Leather is supple and soft showing hardly any wear (reference the photos below of the outer bolsters). Dash is excellent as are the door panels and the console. Wood trim is impeccable with no scratching, fading or cracks. Everything inside the car is in complete working order all the way down to the lights in the vanities. You will notice on the photo of the trunk there is a full velour dash cover that is rolled up to the right of the floor mats. That was just 'placed' on the dash, it was never glued down or had any velcro anchors so no damage to the dashboard in any way.
Mechanically the car is every bit as good as it looks. Engine starts promptly, runs smooth with no noises from the bottom end or upper end valves. Transmission shifts properly and the car is a real pleasure to drive. There are no overheating issues and the car has no fluid leaks. If you reference the photo below of the instrument cluster with the car running you will notice there are no 'service engine' or 'warning' lights on in the dash. AC has just been professionally serviced with a full evacuation, leak down check and recharge with proper lubricants and leak tracing dye if you ever have an issue down the road. The car was also just serviced and will not require another service until 51k miles.

The car came with all factory floor mats, spare, jack and owners books but just one key and remote. I ordered two new keys and remotes and had the keys cut for the car but they will need to be programmed by an automotive locksmith or the dealer.
So, what's a 'now classic' touring sedan with an impeccable garage kept history in absolutely mint condition worth? Well, a 144,000 mile example in green that was advertised with a few mechanical issues sold in FL here on eBay a couple months ago for $7,100 as well as a few V6 models that went for just under $8,000 and there is currently a quite nice 56k mile car listed here for $11,995. This car is undisputedly in nicer condition, with lower mileage, and yet I am asking a very reasonable $9950 for this car. It's worth every dime of that but I am going to enable the 'Best Offer' feature to work with serious buyers.
