I hate to get rid of this one. This is a SUPER FUN bike with 12,000 original miles and a clean, clear title! This bike begain life as a Harley-Davidson XLH 1200. This IS NOT a converted 883. It is a factory 1200. The bike has been lightened significantly by eliminating or replacing the following components: factory seat, rear fender and tail light, factory front fender and hardware, factory blinkers, factory exhaust pipes and mounting brackets, factory upper and lower belt gaurd, factory rear fender strut covers, and the frame has also been cut, trimmed and lightened. 2 gallon Sportster peanut tank and is brand new with a cool patina. Tank is spotless inside. The tail section is a Harley XR750 racing tail section from Hotwing Glass. It is a lightweight but strong flattrack racing seat with a nice, black, basket-weave seat pad. The seat mounting brackets were custom made from 1/8" flat steel and are welded to the frame for stability. Seat is held on by 1/4" x 20 countersunk, stainless steel hardware. Seat pad is held to seat pan by heavy-duty velcro and works great.
The pipes were purchased new and are Supertrapp XR750-styled flattrack stainless steel racing pipes. I customized the mounting brackets slightly to bring them up a little higher as they go back on the bike. They are loud but quieter than drag pipes. These pipes retail for $1000.00 new. They have a nice deep growl. I also have tuning discs and solid caps for these pipes that I will include. The air cleaner is a Ness Big Sucker with a low profile and great air flow. Carb has been re-jetted for the increased air flow. The bike right now has 12,000 original miles. I will continue to ride this bike occasionally until it sells. It is a factory, numbers matching bike. Bike runs AWESOME! Fires right up, runs out great. Stops great. Blinker wires are all in place and are ready to hook up to the blinkers of your choice.
