Seller Description

This is a low miles, well maintained Honda RC51 with track plastics. I did ride this on the street occasionally and rode it to Laguna Seca once but it was mostly used for track days. The bike has never been down and has always been kept inside.The tank is OEM with a Vortex cap. Bodywork is AK Composites. The bike is painted after Colin Edwards Stars & Stripes paint scheme with DuPont Chroma paint and vinyl decals. It is not an exact replica but the decals I took creative license with are removableas none of the decals are under the clear coat. The #2 logos and the pin striping was done by a local pin striper. It is equipped with, Moriwaki full system with titanium high mount mufflers. Moriwaki adjustable rearsets. Suspension has Moriwaki rear shock link, Ohlins #46PRXLS rear shock with hydraulic pre-load adjuster, race tech valves up front and is setup for a 200lb rider. 520 chain and sprockets with 15/42. When the gearing was done I added a yellow box speedo healer so the speedometer and the odometer is correct. The fork pinch bolts are titanium and safety wired. All items required for track use are safety wired. It has a Scotts damper with an OEM fairing stay. A DIGI gear indicator has been custom milled into the top triple clamp. I installed a KYA-R front mount radiator set which is a replica of HRC front mount kit. The thermostat housing has been flipped, the thermostat itself has been drilled and the bypass line plugged (required for front mount radiators). Cooling system is filled with distilled water and water wetter. The radiator system works so well I usually had to tape off a bit of the vertical radiatorto get it up to 180 degrees. With front mount radiators the electricfan is not used. Setrab oil cooler with hand bent -6 Aluminum lines and AN fittings. Bracketry for the radiators is all hand fabricated. There is a quick disconnect in the fuel line to make tank removal much easier. You will notice the clutch side cover is the magnesium version off the SP-2. The front caliper brackets, clutch lever and other items have been black anodized.

The flapper in the snorkel has been removed as well as the sound deadening on the air box. The intake GROWLS! Air cleaners are OEM. Dyno Jet Power Commander tuned by L&L at Willow Springs. The soft rev limiter has been disabled. Front MC is Brembo radial 19x18 with HRC pads on OEM rotors. Rear rotor is a wave style with stock pads. Rear fender is carbon but not sure on the brand. The bike is streetable, no OEM lights. It has turn signals in the rear but not the front. It can be easily set up for street or track. There is a mesh panel that installs in place of the rear light assembly for track use. All mechanical is in very good shape. Brake lines are custom made with vinyl coated stainless braided lines. Clutch line is vinyl coated red. Oil changes were done with Castrol full synthetic every 1000 miles with either OEM of K&N filters. Spark plugs are laser iridium. Tires are old track day tires and should not be considered usabledue to age and heat cycles. The bike comes with OEM mirrors as well as aluminum block off plates.
