I am selling my Audi S8 which is one of 418 Audi S8's sold in the US for the model year 2002. The S8 has a better, lower geared transmission than an A8. With 360 HP and all-wheel drive, this car really moves! This car gets thumbs up and "cool classic Audi" all the time.
Purchased from a close friend who bought it with 23K miles, its last timing belt service was at 130K and included the radiator. He completed five transmission services in his home shop. New fuel pump. All four strut assemblies replaced with Bilstein's. The headliner is new; tires are ok; air recently recharged. New front and rear rotors/pads.
Color is dark green and the paint is beautiful! No wear on the dash dials/knobs. Seats and carpet are in good condition, the handles of the door panels show wear. No smoking or pets in this car.
A deer ran in front of the car resulting in two small dents in the driver door replacement of the passenger headlight and the grille. The driver side lower grill was lost but not replaced. There is a two-inch long crease where the turn signal meets the driver fender. The radio doesn't work but the six-disk CD changer works and the Bose speakers sound great - no buzz or hum. A software scan shows there is a short in the antenna transmitter. The rear shade no longer works.
