Seller Description
**posted on multiple platforms**
Up for sale is a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire. At the time I purchased it, it had 40,267 miles on it. From what I understand, an older woman purchased the vehicle new, and rarely drove it.
I’ve owned the car for around a year. Nothing is wrong with it, it’s a great car. Low miles, great MPG, and maintenance/parts are relatively inexpensive. I just need something larger.
Now for the details:
2.2L 4 cylinder Ecotec engine
55,152 miles (this will change as this vehicle is my daily driver-approx. 16-20/day)
Automatic transmission
30 average MPG
2 door coupe
Manual windows & locks
Working sunroof (no leaks)
CD player
Interior is in great condition
Parts that have been replaced: engine cradle, both outer tie rod ends, both sway bar links, both front struts, right rear wheel bearing and a battery
New tires and alignment performed at 54,438.
Hasn’t seen much snow/salt this year due to not being driven.
The bad: body rust under gas door (shown in pictures), dents and dings (shown as well, not sure from what, they were there when I purchased the vehicle), the middle light behind the radio screen is out (it may not bother most people, but it is a huge annoyance to me), the headlight lenses are foggy
I have records and receipts from mostly everything that has been done to the vehicle since I bought it, aside from a few oil changes.
Yes, I understand the vehicle could use a good washing, inside and out. I will get to that when it’s not so cold, hopefully this week!
My listing price is $3,000. KBB prices it at around $2,800 at the highest. My price is negotiable, I am factoring in the recent alignment and new tires. I am very open to offers, I welcome it!! This would be a wonderful first car, or work car. She would last someone a very long time with some TLC and routine maintenance.
Thank you for reading my very long post.
