I bought this wrecked bike (SALVAGE TITLE) out of California several years ago. I bought it and turned it into a road coarse track bike.
This bike is a 2003 frame with the 05-06 rear subframe that is lowered from the factory, but has the original 2003 seat with the seat cushion shaved down. The seat does not bolt doWn, but I drove it like that on my other bike for years. I had two, a street bike and this one.
It has TL1000R cylinders, heads, cams, and valve covers. The motor was completely torn down and rebuilt. When I rebuilt it, I put "high dome" pistons in it. I replaced several shift forks that needed it.I took it to JD Hord to have him do the shift forks, timing, and tuning. I didn't want to take any chances with the timing and clearances with the different pistons. This is a great running motor and motorcycle. The bike has sat for the last few years, but was started and run around the neighborhood occasionally, but due to the salvage title, I didn't got far from home.
The bike also has Ohlins forks, PM wheels, and GMD computrack adjustable triple clamp.
I purchased the bike to build it for a dedicated track bike. I finished the bike and only put a few hundred miles on the street. Never tracked it. Just got busy tracking cars.
It has the stock exhaust and cans on it, but the cans have been completely gutted.

The bike comes with a black solo cowl shown on the bike. I am also selling the front and rear PIT BULL stands with the bike. As well as GSXR forks, OEM rear wheel pictured (it comes with the cush drive and 2 additional used 530 sprockets), I have MANY extra parts that can go with it for another track guy, if you want them.
I put the bike back in to "street mode" to show everything is there if someone wanted to get it inspected and titled for the road.
I am willing to work with the buyer to deliver it for a cost. WE MUST AGREE TO IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT OR IT IS COMPLETELY UP TO YOU TO PICK IT UP.
