Used 2003 Triumph America (no swaps or part ex)

This Triumph America is a bit of a barn find as its been sat unused from at least 2006. Its in a running condition as it was taken for a MOT on the 18/12/2021. It did fail its MOT on 2 things, one being the horn which was a simple connection, the second is lack of rear brake.
This is no where near showcondition and will take a bit of time to bring up to scratch. Unfortunately the chrome work is pitted and the engine casings have been painted with Silver paint. The tank and other body panels will also need to be resprayed as unfortunately they have been rubbed down but not finished off.
The bike runs, but is a bit rough on low revs. The carbs have had a full rebuild kit but may need setting up correctly.
The rear brake has had both a master cylinder and caliper rebuild kit but unfortunately there seems to be no pressure.
Im trying to be very honest, hence the above description.
What this bike does have is very lowmileage, 1 owner and is a great base for either bringing back to its original condition or for someone who might like to modify in to a bobber.
It does have extras added, the pillionseat and back rest (luggage rack), pannier holders, engine dresser bar kit, light bar kit (not fitted),Roadster screen (not fitted may need a few parts to mount)
I would suggest coming to look at the bike as its difficult to fully describe how the bike is.
Im selling this for a friend and have been told that sensible offers will be considered.
