Selling my 2004 BMW R1200C Montauk. One of only 350 and in pristine condition. I bought this bike from a friend in New York who ordered it from Germany in November 2004 through Westchester BMW Motorcycles in White Plains, NY. He paid $17,342.06 cash and received the bike in January 2005. (I have a copy of the original sales receipt.) In 2012 he decided to sell his bikes due to health issues from a gun shot wound from an incident when he was on duty as a police officer. By the time when I bought it from him it had only around 4000 miles. Yes, he rode it to Montauk, at the tip of Long Island after which the bike was named.

The 2004 R1200C Montauk had some major improvements like 2 spark plugs per cylinder for better performance and fuel economy, a redesigned silencer for a better sound and a redesigned transmission with helical cut gears for less vibrations and smoother shifting. Polished cast aluminum wheels - 16" with a 150/80 front tire and 15" with a 180/80 rear tire .
