Here is a low mileage 955i Daytona, in prime condition. This 2005 model has the factory enhanced version of this revered engine with forged pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft, producing 149HP, on a bike that weighs less than 400lbs. And, unlike most sportbikes, it produces torque at low RPM, allowing it to do double duty as a sport tourer. This brawny triple is also equipped with a Triumph stainless performance muffler that produces a howling exhaust note.
Muscular and powerful-- this is a bike for experts, not enthusiasts. Bidders should note the cosmetic damage touch-up to the right quarter, proxemic to the Union Jack (photo #10).

I bought this Daytona for research on a book that I was writing. I serviced it, installed new tires, installed protective equipment (mudguard extender, hugger) and put on less than a thousand miles. Precise handling and a dream to ride, but not comfortable for a senior.
