Seller Description

Up For sale is a 2006 Honda VTX 1300C with 29,854 miles on
the odometer. This bike has been
meticulously maintained since my ownership in 2015. It has been garage kept since my ownership.
Paint has a few minor scratches, all of which are no more than a half an inch
and mostly just specs. Overall I would
give the paint an9/10. Mechanically the
bike is flawless. The oil has been
changed at the beginning of every season or every 3,000 miles with full
synthetic motorcycle oil. Bike has just
had its season start oil change as well as a brand new battery replacement on
4/1/19. Rear diff oil was also changed last season. There are quite a few modifications done to
this bike and it runs like a dream. All
mods have less than 2,000 miles on them since installation. Reason I am selling
it is due to the lack of time to ride it.
This bike is ready to ride, has never broken down on me, does not blow
smoke or leak anything. Test rides will
only be given with cash in hand and proof of motorcycle license.Local pickup only or buyer is responseible for delivery after payment is received.

to allow more air flow) This is a very popular mod that retains factory look
but increased air intake at top end).

oiled at the end of last season. (70$)

Pair valve mod delete
o
Reduces popping on deceleration. Also removes
the EGR system which is known to have vacuum leaks. Also makes the area under the tank cleaner.

Factory Pro Stage 1 jet kit. Carb re-jetted for exhaust and intake
modifications.($120)

Bike starts very easily, choke is barely needed
even in the winter months or beginning of the season. Top end has a lot of power from this
re-jetting.

Both main and pilot jets were swapped out
o
New adjustable float needle.

Extended Air fuel ratio screw installed ($65)

A/F screw is extended so that you can tune the
A/F without taking the whole intake off.
o
I have installed a silicone hose to the end of
this hose that runs down next to the idle screw which makes tuning even easier.

Hidden LED rear turn signal’s.
o
Stock turn signals looked like lollipops so I
installed an LED system that runs along the rear fender line (cannot remember
brand as it was one of the first mods I did).
A few of the LED’s have burnt out over the years but still looks great
and functions well.

New Michelin Commander II Tires installed last
season. About 1000 miles since
installing. ($300+install)

I have tried a lot of tires of the years. These
are the best ones I have found.

Front valve stem is leaking a little bit, this
is an easy fix however I haven’t had time to bring it in to the shop- if the
bike isn’t sold quickly I’ll have this taken care of.

the end of last season. Less than 1000
miles on new brakes.

installed. Purchased from backyard air
suspension with the aluminum ring. (150$)

great cutoff line. Separate Hi/Lo LED bulbs

volume gets a little distorted.

As the bike goes faster/slower the volume goes
up/down.- don’t be the guy sitting at the light with blaring music.The bad:·Slight chip on paint on rear fender- less than a half inch.It has been this way since I purchased the bike in 2015 and has not gotten any bigger.·License plate bracket just broke off on the highway on my last ride.You can get a new license plate bracket for $20-$100 depending on the style you want to go with.
