Like new DRZ400SM that is built to keep up with CRF450 and others such track only non-plated bikes!
I purchased this from a friend who built this bike as a labor of love but after about 200 miles I realize this is too much bike for me (fell off the first day I rode it in my parking area, very slight blemishes on RH hand guard and peg shown in the pictures). I put less than 200 miles on it since I bought it but just can't get used to it so it is now offered for sale. The upgrades include:
Engine
All new bearings and internals! (only items that were not replaced are the gears & cases)
Athena 434cc kit
Head was blasted, ported and polished with a complete new valvetrain
Hot rods plus 2mm stroke crank
Hot rods bearing kit
Hot rods water pump
Hot cams stage 2 cams
Everything was replaced with OEM parts!
FCR flat side 42mm carb
Yosh full system carbon exhaust
Bike was dyno tuned for perfect AFR, about 1200 miles since the build was finished with no issues
Frame
The frame down was done at the same time as the motor and everything was powder coated or set out to get re-polished. All seals and bearings in the frame were replaced. All black frame and sub frame
Suspension
Zeta Racing billet triple clamp front and rear were re sprung and valved with race tech springs and gold valve to 170lb rider
Breaks
Front break is 320mm braking rotor with Brembo 108mm 4 piston pad caliper and Brembo rcs15 master cylinder and CORE stainless break lines
Rear is stock caliper with Brembo pads, rotor and CORE ss line
Wheels
Excel wheels with SM pro billet hubs, 3. X 17 front and 4.5 x 17 rear
Second set of BRAND NEW 21 and 18 off road setup on Excel rims, spokes and OEM hubs

Points to note
RH radiator was upgraded to Mishimoto Braced Aluminum radiator. They were out of stock on the LH side until this month (October) which is why the OEM radiator is still installed and is working fine. Passenger pegs removed
The threading for both bolts that hold the gas tank are stripped. The tank is held in place just fine by the seat and 2 frame grommets but this is in the interest of full transparency
Only one ignition key
No steering lock key
There are probably other upgrades I don’t recall which you can see in the pictures. As you can tell, this bike has been meticulously upgraded and the cost of the parts and labor alone is greater than the asking price. This won’t last and priced for a quick sell.
