We purchased this last year from the original lady owner who had owned it from new. It had been regularly garage serviced and we have done top and bottom engine mounts as well as a new radiator a couple of weeks ago. The 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine is one of Volvo’s best work horses and has plenty of miles left in it. When we first got it we also gave the transmission a full double flush and added fresh fluid. When cruising along highways she gets around 8 ltrs.

Per 1000 K’s , a little more around town. Because it was a country lady who owned it, it was used to carry just about every thing in it besides the kids hence it’s a little rough around the edges inside including a few dog chewed door handles, so not an immaculate Toorak taxi, more a country person’s friend.Mechanically it is sound and ready for the big trip around Aus or just throwing the the surf boards in for a weekend away.
