This 2011 CBR1000RR was owned by a meticulous classic and vintage
motorcycle collector. It was specifically bought to satisfy his need to
have a neo-cafe looking bike, by converting a low-mileage, never-crashed
sport bike into a naked bike.
To date, the bike has less than 9,300 miles. The conversion was done by a
professional, entailing the following upgrades and additions:
-Removal of most body fairings and cowl pieces, with the exception of the rear seat cowl and the front fender.
-All wires and hoses were tucked as neatly and as subtly as possible to give an excellent clean look
-Sensors were relocated as needed in order to maintain functionality of
the bike’s electronics, such as the sensor that senses tip overs
-A single front circular headlight conversion was done, including a
custom fabricated bracket that holds both the gauges and the headlight
-The said bracket was custom-fitted with Motogadget M-Blaze Pin Turn Signals
-The clip-ons were fitted with bar-end mirrors
-The rear was fitted with a fender eliminator with integrated turn signals
-Front frame sliders were added
Aside from that, the bike, again, was meticulously maintained, including the following:
-Motorcycle was garage kept all of its life since the ownership of the motorcycle collector.
-Brakes are in excellent condition and great working order
-Brake fluid has been flushed with DOT 4
-The tires have good threads to them and look almost new
-The chain and sprockets are regularly cleaned and lubed, despite the minimal use
-All moving parts and linkages are regularly lubricated
The bike isn’t a show bike by any means. It was part of a collection
that sat on a battery tender in the garage most of the time, with the
very rare occasion of being taken out for a chill weekend ride. The bike
runs excellent and every single function of the bike was carefully
preserved.

It goes without saying that this naked-converted bike isn’t
one of those that crashed and the owner was too poor to buy new fairings
for it.
