The S Model also includes an upgraded/louder exhaust from the factory, more options such as the interior and exterior appearance packages. The S also has the updated front bumper and rear bumpers. The Finishing’s on the wheels, interior trim, and exterior are the same as the V12 S Model and other more expensive Aston Martin models. Vantage S Coupe Models will continue to go up in value in this market as they are rare and with this spec on this Vantage S being so unique. I’ve never seen another like it…Engine needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I was driving up a hill going less than 5 mph and the piston came into contact with a valve which is located in Bank 1, Cylinder 2. Not sure why this happened. The engine can start, however knowing there are metal particles in the cylinder present, I never started the car again. I had the engine evaluated by a reputable local shop. The car was stored and during this time some water got into the cylinders due to condensation. I have analyzed and contacted several Aston Martin mechanics and repair shops to find there are two solutions: re-sleeve each cylinder and replace the piston in the Bank 1, Cylinder 2 along with the valve or replace the engine. I will leave this up to the next buyer that may be more mechanically inclined or has more experience than I do with these types of repairs. In the spirit of full transparency, the rear carbon diffuser and passenger door was replaced with an OEM Aston Martin parts through insurance by a very reputable body shop (Bell’s Autosport in Huntington Beach).
