For sale, a 2014 BMW K1600 GT, with rear trunk. The bike is a great bike, if you like to ride
slow or briskly, it is a great bike. I
am going to miss the bike as the dealership has left upstate NY and BMW will
not support working on these up here. So first all the good stuff, then the
issues. The bike will move along quite
well. It is 160 HP and 129 FT/LB of
torque and has no problems pulling away from a light or a stop sign. It also handles quite well in a parking lot
and slow speeds. I am really impressed
at the slow speed maneuvers that you can do with this. The weight of the bike kind of disappears
when going slow, but when you stop it shows you its weight again. The GT has a lower back seat than the GTL,
which is the primary reason for purchase.
I added the rear trunk for my
wife to lean back. The saddlebags
are removable so when you go on a trip you can take into the room with
you. There is lots of storage on the
bike. 3 different selections for
throttle response and traction control (Yes traction control which reduces
wheelies). Also different ride
selections, comfort, normal and sport) and it you also select 1 person, 1
person with luggage and 2 persons with luggage (for ride height and the rear
shock). The radio has A, FM, Satellite
and Weather band. The bike also has a set of lower fog lights
that do work well.
The Trunk is an add on. About $1700.00 This doesn't come with a GT normally, and is totally removable.

extraordinary level of dynamic performance as well as refined running
smoothness.
If the rider is in the mood for sport, the
engine willingly puts in a burst of speed even in the lower engine speed range,
and it is in its element over high-speed stretches.

Over 70% of the maximum
torque is available from just 1500 rpm.
While the bike's power reserves are huge, its
dimensions are reduced. Never was a large-volume in-line 6-cylinder so compact,
offering outstanding handling and increased banking freedom. And a whole new
touring bike feel.
