Custom made chopper, bobber with a bunch of the parts coming from an actual chopper made in the 70's. They were from a 41 Knucklehead made into a chopper. Decided to put the 41 all backoriginal, and all the chopper parts into another Knucklehead chopper,Bobber. The last picture is with the original knucklehead motor, trans, frame, rear wheel andbrake, etc. taken by me in June of 79/80, the actual date is on back of pictureThe motor is a S&S KN 93, with a Leineweber mild racing cam (E4, I think). The tranny is a Baker 6n4 with neutral all the way down ( was thinking of running a jockey shift) it has a BDL 2" belt drive, withelectric start. Has an oil cooler, AntiGravity 480cc battery. Rear sprocket with rear brake (reason I put the front brake drum on it) Sissybar (ReChromed)Seat (Recovered with new padding) rear fender, these all from original chopper. The springer was added later.Paughco frame, 5 gal. tanks, 12 volt generator with built in regulator, custom made hand grips, start button at end of throttle, 40's style tool box w/toolsI kept a running record of the build, and had over $24,000.
