Manufactured between 2012 and 2013, all 196 w204 C63 Black Series immediately sold out in the US. However, despite the incredible demand, Mercedes realized they just couldn’t dedicate the regular w204 assembly line, where Mercedes made a healthy margin, to making a car like the Black Series on which they made next to nothing.

As a result, production was cut short. Little did they probably know they were also seeing one of the last cars ever to carry the Black Series name.
The end result is an extremely invigorating and immersive driving experience, lead by the combination of limitless torque, a stout 7-speed wet clutch transmission, exceptional road handling, and vault-like build quality.The rumble and wail of the 6.2l hand-built engine, upgraded with forged internals from the SLS, is absolutely intoxicating. Even without touching the throttle however, the muscular and aggressive stance that the wider wheelbase and bulging fenders provide is easily recognizable.
In short, performance is absolutely astounding and while it can be subtle for a car with this level of tenacity, it constantly garners the admiration of people. The car needs absolutely nothing which is why it has never seen a single aftermarket part.

The car also received a full paint correction and ceramic coating in February of 2018. This also included removal of the factory rear fender clear rock guards, which were replaced with Xpel clear bra. Xpel was also applied to the side skirt and front splitter carbon fiber trim.
