2018 PORSCHE CAYENNE PLATINUM EDITION - $75,360 STICKER
After a long and hard search for a flawless white/black Cayenne we found this one at Ft. Lauderdale Mercedes Benz and purchased it on December 5, 2018. The car had just over 6,300 miles on it when we bought it.
CONDITION & COMMENTS:
When this Cayenne was traded in for a new Mercedes Benz at Ft. Lauderdale Mercedes Benz (FLMB) their specialists checked this entire Porsche over and they found the exterior, interior and drive-train to be flawless. This is why they had it for sale. This was very important to us because we were not buying it new and we knew if FLMB was selling it, it had to meet or exceed their extremely stringent/high criteria for selling it on their lot, under their name.
For example, they (FLMB) told us that when someone trades in a car that had any paintwork, was damaged or wrecked, smoked-in or was in any type of accident they would wholesale the car even before the new car was sold to whoever was trading in the flawed car. Meaning, they would call a wholesaler, agree on a price, offer that price to the person trading in the car, and if accepted the wholesaler would come and pay/take the car. FLMB wants nothing to do with them and for obvious reasons this was extremely important to us.
This Porsche Cayenne is still as gorgeous as the day we drove it home and to say it was never abused or smoked in is an understatement. It is driven by an exceptionally cautious and amazingly patent female driver (like literally below all speed limits and parked far away from store entrances. Not exaggerating). I would challenge anyone to find one with half the miles in as good of condition. Any tiny dings and/or marks on the car are from it simply being a car with 23,000 miles on it – albeit we did not see any. The rims are perfect and the tires are in good condition. Obviously, the CarFax is clean and perfect as is the title.
It also comes with the original sticker ($75,360) which shows the options as well as the original book/binder and 2 sets of keys (fobs).
When we are in Lake Tahoe or Italy, the car is covered, has a trickle charger (Porsche) on it and stays under our Florida Keys house. This is usually from the end of April until mid to late November. The main miles are from the Keys to Ft. Lauderdale and/or Cocoa Beach (parents).
ALL pictures were taken November 14, 2020, with the exception of the one with the red bow on it (the day we bought it).
WARRANTY - GOODTHROUGHJANUARY 8, 2022 or 50,000 MILES:
1) The New Car Warranty and Porsche 24-Hour Roadside Assistance in 2018 was: 4 Years or 50,000 Miles2) The New Car Warranty on this Cayenne went into effect (first registered) on January 8, 2018.3) The Corrosion Perforation Limited Warranty is 12 Years or therefore good until January 8, 2030.*You can confirm this with any Porsche dealership - Just call their service department and give them the VIN number.
REASON FOR SALE:
Two-fold: 1) I bought a new Tesla for my girl for Christmas and it arrives on Nov 28th. 2) Dealers offered way too little for this Cayenne, especially in this condition. For example, I contacted Carvana and they offered $47,470 and FLMB offered $47,074 w/trade.

I found that to be insulting as the only thing any of them will do is take this Cayenne, put it through their car wash, stick it on the lot and jack up the price by $9-$10k and I just don’t think that’s fair.
SOLD AS-IS - NO RETURNS:
I am not a car dealer, so please feel free to come inspect the Cayenne with anyone (mechanic, paint/accident expert etc.) before buying it. I do not want to get involved in any games. You buy it, it's yours. I will help you in any way possible to feel comfortable before the sale. In addition, I am happy to drive it to a Porsche dealership and when they verify everything, you can wire the money and I will leave it and the signed title there for you - assuming that's okay with them).
RESERVE PRICE:
I will set the starting bid and reserve at $47,500
PAYMENT:
There is no loan/lien on the car and it has a clean and clear title. Whoever buys the car must pay for it in 1 of 3 ways:1) Wire transfer2) Cash3) Cashiers Check (“CC”). For this option, it has to be done either in person with me at one of our banks in the Florida Keys or in Ft. Lauderdale at which point my bank will contact your bank to verify the CC (while we are there) - OR - you can send one and I will deposit it and once it is cleared you can pick up the car (and no, banks don't consider CC's cash anymore)
SHIPPING:
If you want it shipped, I have no problem putting it on a transport at the Duck Key, FL entrance on Overseas Hwy (easy for the shipper) however, the wire or CC would need to have cleared my bank before I will ship it. In addition, I will take a video and pictures showing the condition and miles as it goes on the transport.
Put a big red bow on it and give it to your girl for Christmas – that’s what I did!
