Seller Description
BMW
K75S Qld rego LD-888
The
bike is a 9/87 build with Australian compliance plate dated 03/94.
Purchased
from Team Moto, Springwood, 17th July, 2014 with 95,913klm on
odometer.
Immediate
engine oil and filter change.
Time
line…..
10/04/2016;
The BM Shop. Fitted new odometer drive gears. Common fault at around
100,000Klm. Actual klm’s not recorded but probably somewhere in the 96,000K
range.
02/04/2017; EBC floating front disk upgrade
with Sintered street pads. Fitted at 97,000Klm exactly. $1,000 spent here. No more warped disks like the genuine ones do. Only riden 2000 k's since fitting.
There
was another Oil and Filter change somewhere in 2018. I have the filter card but
nothing recorded…dumb shit…
26/01/20;
New Metzeler Lazer Tech tyres. Fitted at 98,300Klm.
13/04/20;
Oil and filter changed plus crank case cover gasket and bolt grommets replaced.
Odometer 98,675Klm.
04/06/20;
Gearbox and diff oil changed at 98,998Klm
Current
odometer reading 99,305Klm. I have surprised myself on just how little I rode this bike over the last 6 years.
All Panier key locks work however one Panier key
lock has the key barrel missing. The latch works just no key lock.Bike has a recent Motobatt gel battery and is wired for trickle charger. The only time I start this bike is to ride it and then I usually do 150-350Klm on a ride. The rest of the time it sits under a bike cover on charge.It has full factory tool kit as well. You cannot fault this bike mechanically.
It has a cosmetic scar on LH Fairing and a bit of paint scrapped off the Rocker cover and crankcase but NO evidence that it has been slid down the road.It is a definite "head turner". Whenever I pull up for a coffee I get positive comments....mostly from people that know what they are looking at.
This
is a beautiful bike to ride. I bought a K75S brand new in 1988 and have loved
these bikes ever since. They are the best BMW bike ever built in my opinion. So predictable, stable and well engineered that it commands your respect and earns your confidence immediately. This bike can still do 0-100Klm in 5 seconds flat without any issue: cruise at 140 or simply have a lazy day at 80-90klm. It is happy with however you want to ride.
I
am down-sizing. The Triumph is gone. Now I am looking for a good home for the Lady. This bike is quite tall.
I
have a Harley 1200 Sportster that I will keep until I can’t ride anymore..I gettin older and stiffer in the wrong places.
I
will part with Lady K for $4,800.00 or near offer. RWC provided for a Qld buyer. She will be
sold unregistered to Interstate buyers. Payment is via EFT to my bank account or cash. No other method will be accepted.
Thanks for looking. If you are interested then talk to me and we will sort out a deal. Evan. 0438 [hidden information]
