BMW R65 1980 - MOT Exempt Classic. No modifications, completely original, in fantastic order for the year.
The bike has had a good going over, the frame, panels and tank are recently painted. The tank has also been coated internally. Both keys and locks all good.
The carbs could do with balancing and a little tweak, (I have not had the time recently). The rubber clock surround has a crack in it, but still look good.
I have the original purchase receipt and lots of other service and parts receipts, all quite interesting.
It could make a lovely cafe racer with just a few bolt on parts, if you like that.I am selling it as I have a few bikes and want to make some space for another project and I have just started rebuilding another one. It’s great example, very clean and straight.
