A 1961 350 BSA B40 in completely standard trim, starts 1st kick and ready to use.A pleasant ride which is not to heavy whilst able to keep up with larger bikes.
Owned by me for last 18 years and only for sale as I hardly use it.Since owning I have fitted a Boyer Mk IV ignition system, a Boyer Power Box voltage regulating module and a concentric carburetor.I know the history of the machine and it's owners (personal friends) back to the mid 70's, it was restored in approximately 1993 and has really been garaged stored since that date.Included in the sale is a "resleeved" monobloc carburetor (was originally fitted, so can be returned to standard), a petrol tank for restoration (has at some time had petseal or similar which after use with modern fuel has become porous) and a 2 pack aerosol in the relevant shade of red (been in garage for some time so presume ok but not guaranteed)The paint work is good, but the chrome on wheel rims and tank shows signs of pitting, the tank fitted had a leak near the front lug, I welded that some time ago and touched up with a primer (see photos), the spare tank is included so that the purchaser if minded can have it restored whilst still being able to use the bike.
