Used 1975 Cadillac DeVille Used Automatic Coupe 501L Gasoline

Seller Description

Super straight body and immaculate interior set this beautiful triple black Cadillac apart. Garage kept since new, this vehicle had one owner for the past 30 years until I purchased it in 2017. The previous owner had completed a complete repaint and had installed a new vinyl roof before selling the vehicle to me due to old age.

On purchase I redid all of the brakes and fuel system, including a new Kevlar coated gas tank. Radiator flushed and transmission fluid checked. New period correct whitewalls were installed less than 1000 miles ago. New plugs, wires and a full tune up was completed in March of 2017. Oil changes done regularly. Pins and bushings replaced recently. Some limited records of the work are included with the car, with some of the original documentation. Chrome, trim and all brightwork in excellent condition.
The car currently has a clean Ontario title in my name.
Known remaining issues with the car:Door locks do not go up and down due to lubricant on mechanism having seized. Actuators work fine. Tumblers do not turn due to seized lubricantTruck lock very difficult to turnFender extensions are replacements and plastic is warped (see photo)Hole in catalytic converterHeater is stuck on - mechanic believes this is due to a stuck mechanism to the door for the heater coreRust bubbling starting on passenger side bottom of vinyl roof due to being outside last winter. This is the first winter the car was stored outdoorsDoors need new latch mechanisms. They don't sag, but they don't close easilyPassenger window does not go down from driver side switch, but will go up. Goes up and down from passenger side switch.
