Seller Description

1986 Chevrolet C30 Silverado Crew Cab Duallie is for sale. I no longer have a need for it, I have sold the car it was to tow.
It has a fifth wheel tow hitch and wiring fitted. Electric brake wiring is not fitted. The truck is currently registered in Queensland on Club Rego. Front suspension bushes and ball joints all recently replaced. All the lens` have been replaced with new items recently.
Engine is 454 cubic inch, T400 transmission. Dual fuel tanks, fitted with crossover pump and new dual reading guage. Entire fuel system is new and freshly installed, from the tanks to the carb, which is an 850cfm Demon. New lines, new fuel pressure reg. I have also installed an Aeroflow efi fuel pump boss in the RH tank because efi was next on the list. Right hand drive conversion was done in QLD and is an Approved Modification in Qld. Mod plate and Aust Compliance plate are on the firewall. Hydro brake booster has been recently reconditioned.

Electronic distributor/leads/plugs are all new. Drive belts are new. All driveline fluids are recently replaced and the truck is fully serviced. Radiator has been recently re-cored and new thermostat and hoses have been fitted. Rear main oil seal leaks a half dozen drops after a drive, otherwise, there are no fluid leaks.
Interior is leather front bucket seats and leather rear bench seat from a later model C30. (I don`t know what model) . The radio is out of the dash, it is in the car, but it was out when I bought the truck and havn`t put it back in. I was planning to upgrade it. Carpets are in reasonable shape, as is the door skins and hood lining. It`s not a show truck, but it is clean neat and tidy . Window are electric and all work. LHF one is a bit slow to wind up. The grille is from a 1989 model, and looks ok, but I have sourced the correct 1986 grille and associated parts, all new, these come with the truck. The truck is does not have aircon fitted. This is actually the only major thing I would do next if I was keeping it. That and tint the windows.
Exterior paint is in good condition. A few bumps and things here and there, but overall quite presentable. There is a small amount of surface rust in the drivers door sill area. It`s not a rust hole, and I have treated it with Penetrol and sprayed cavity wax inside the sills. It is visible in the pics to check out. There was some rust bubbles starting to appear in the roof, I have treated them with Penetrol and primered them. That is the only rust I can find in the truck, It is otherwise a nice clean unit. The passenger quarter glass has a broken top pivot point. The driver quarter glass opens nicely.
Overall this is a well presented truck, it drives well and is well maintained.
