Seller Description

Here we have our Chevrolet Captiva which we have owned (as the second owner) since Jan 2012.
Originally our primary car, but more recently used to run back and forth to the stables, tip runs, to tow horse trailer and for DIY materials. It is a good solid car, but showroom condition it is not.
It has an MoT extension which expires on 21st December 2020 and thus is being sold as spares or repair, but is drive away.
The car was SORN on 30th November 2020 and is now parked around 5 miles from home at a location with a private track so that a socially distanced test drive drive can be taken.
It has the following known faults:
P0089 (issue with the fuel pressure regulator). This is an occasional issue as diagnosed by the RAC.
As can be seen from the picture, a number of the dashboard lights are illuminated. The fault is due to the front offside wheel speed sensor which lit up shortly after the rear speed sensor was replaced at the last MoT (as diagnosed by the garage that carried out the repair for the last MoT).
The near side rear tyre has a very slow puncture.
The car alarm triggers in hot weather unless the internal isolator is pressed.
The car has various small scratches and door dings.
The "Good" bits:
It has a quarter of a tank of diesel
Recent new alternator fitted (purchased Nov 2019, but not fitted until early 2020)
There are two spare rear number plates (one standard & one square to fit horse trailer)
The tow bar will remain, however, the bike rack bracket will be removed prior to sale.
