Model HistoryThe Chevrolet Corvette (C2) is a sports car produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1963 through 1967 model years. Virtually all-new. the Sting Ray stunned the automotive world in 1963. blending world-class handling with unmistakable all-American style and performance. InteriorThe original stunning black interior is almost faultless in factory condition. The original seats have no marks whatsoever and sit on fully restored frames. The carpets are as new. All the gauges work perfectly as you would expect and are all original. The iconic vertical standing radio/cassette is in full working order. ExteriorThe bodywork is faultless with a deep shine mirror paint finish. Fibreglass Corvettes can suffer from cracks and uneven paint finish. well not this one. from front to back. top to bottom the bodywork is faultless and the coat of black paint has so much depth you could dive into it. The brightwork is A1 and has all been replaced new or been restored to as new. The chrome is of show standard. The convertible hood and frame are as new. The roll up and down headlights work perfectly every time. Under the car is as clean and detailed as on the top. a truely OCD but usable Vette.

WheelsBrand new American Racing polished rim alloys with brand new original size tyres to match giving that 60's muscle look. Engine350 cubic inch small block Chevy. Having benefited from a complete rebuild this engine runs superb. Running approx 80 psi oil pressure with no leaks or rattles etc its perfect. The block used is a 0010 block which is an early high performance 4 bolt main block. Power steering from an early corvette has also been added. The 4 speed manual close ratio Muncie gearbox is superb and has the original Hurst shifter. All this period excellence culminates in original Thrush sidepipes which sound superb.
