Yeah, Its a Hemi.
My 1954 Chrysler New Yorker coupe is finally up for sale, I`m building a house ,so it has to go. The driveline is 331 cui Hemi v8, with Torque-Flite 2 speed auto. The entire driveline is original to the car and in stock standard condition. The engine and transmission and steering box have been professionally reconditioned in recent history. The Hemi is set up to run unleaded fuel. Tyres are approx 2 years old.
The roof has been repainted due to Ceva damaging it during transit when I bought the car. Otherwise the exterior is original and in great shape, this car is a real survivor. The stainless trim is perfect, a few blemishes starting to appear in some of the pot metal.The interior (I think) has had the seats topped in newer vinyl prior to me buying the car, and I think the carpets have been replaced at some point,(not by me). Otherwise the interior is totally original , the drivers door trim has wear visible, the hood lining has very minor discoloration from age,and some slight deterioration from UV at the rear lower corners, the original windlacing is in great condition, and overall the entire interior it is very well preserved.
All the glass in the car is in perfect condition, all original factory green tinted glass, and no cracks anywhere.
The plates go with the car if you are in QLD, the odometer is in miles not kms. I have meticulously maintained the New Yorker in my ownership,(approx 8years), I have spared no expense. The car is driven at least 2 times a week (weather permitting) and is completely reliable and very nice to drive.
Every thing works on this car, and nicely. I have modernized the electrical system as necessary, 12v reduction starter, modern relays, switches where applicable.

Everything has been done with the intent of preserving the original look/feel , but with modern reliability. The car also comes with a bunch of service parts and NOS spares that I have collected over the years. I have the original steering wheel as well as the set of 4 original hubcaps in very nice condition and the original mirrors.
If you are the new custodian of my New Yorker, you have nothing to do except hop in and drive it. It will leave me fully serviced and ready to enjoy.
No, I won`t remove the engine and sell it separately, so don`t ask.
