This car will be available in 4to 6 weeks. Full nut and bolt restoration over 2 years bringing this car to show spec .I have been building Escorts for over 30 years and create every one as If I am going to keep it .This one started life in 1972 as a humble 1300cc but it was cared for , the shell was amazing for a car nearly 50 years old .A full bare metal rebuild commenced , a couple of floor panels have been replaced along with both sills and door pillars . This was more as a precaution and not due to excess rot. Bubble arches have been installed , the front fenders are one piece steel and the rear are also steel . Full baremetal respray in period 1973 Burnt orange including 4 coats of clear Floorpan prepped with 3 coats of acid etch , 3 coats of zinc then underseal and final paint coat .Body has been stiffened to cope with extra power . A 5 year rust guarantee will be provided with the sale.
Engine : If you know Fords you will understand the rarity of the engine installed to NO 19  ( the 19th one I have built ) Engine is a fully rebuilt 2WD Sierra cosworth turbo engine - These are the holy grail for escort owners . Fully rebuilt with new internals and fully balanced . - pics available to prove .Upgraded injectors and turbo - output will be approx 400 BHP New racing ecu and loom 600 x 300 intercooler This engine set up alone would cost you upwards of $40'000 if you could find one and then have it rebuilt and tuned .At any one time there is never more than 2 or 3 off these engines for sale on the planet. 
Gearbox is a rebuilt 2wd Borg warner T5 Sierra cosworth - 
Clutch -New 5 PUK ap Paddle clutch - Hydraulic  driving a 1 peice prop . 
Diff - Borg warner rebuilt diff with New cosworth rear disc brakes 
Front brakes are new Wilwood 4 pot calipers . 
AVO suspension all round 
Racing fuel tank with swirl pot and twin pumps 
New windows and seals all round 
Bespoke racing dash and loom 
New lights all round 
Wheels will be RS 4 spoke in 15 inch x 9 inch ( still yet to arrive ) Tyres semi slick 245 x 55 x 15 
Full RS 2000 stripe kit in gunmetal grey ( special order ) 
As stated this car will be available once completed in 4 to 6 weeks - this ad is to create expressions of interest .I also have another which will be ready in 6 to 8 months and as yet unpainted.I have spent over 1000 hours on this bodyshell  and as far as i am concerned is one of the best in the world and far better than new.Over 500 pics are available of the complete build to the purchaser.
