Used Fc Holden panel van

1959 Holden fc windowless panelvanGood original condition, has been garaged over 40years and I’m the 3rd owner.

Car will require work to be put back on road as it has been sitting for so long but is not a overwhelming project that has been messed around with.Car could be lightly restored retaining patina or fully restored to concourse condition as being a windowless panelvan is a very worthwhile project.
Engine is a reconditioned repco engine which I believe has not done a lot of work as it appears clean internally I had the engine running and it ran very smoothly and quiet.
Body wise the car is very solid with only some isolated rust areas as it came from a dry inland area.The only rust in the floor is isolated to the front floor area ( leaking quarter vent rubbers I imagine) which I have the rust repair sections for and it will rectify the area nicely,The remainder of the floor area is very nice and solid see pictures.Other areas that will require some attention are the very front off the sills that have a golf ball sized hole either side and the left hand front sub frame has the usual fc rust but replacement sections for this area are available new.The front doors have some rust to the outer skin but I have a very nice pair of sedan doors that go with the car.The gutters / roof / around windscreen areas etc have no signs of rust.The body has the usual commercial usage dents and scrapes with a 1970’s a paint brush paint job that has mostly worn back to original paint now.
The car comes with a few spare parts which I have bought over the years for it and include;Spare front guards, very nice bonnet, very nice front doors, grills, headlight/taillight/ front indicator surrounds, front bumper and I have the deluxe stainless side trim from a sedan that I was contemplating fitting to the body but I never drilled the holes out for it.
Car is fitted with accessory sun visor and door handle scuff plates.
I have had the car for a number of years and figure it’s time for someone to get it back on the road and enjoy.
