Seller Description

Unfinished project, 1967 xr falcon sedan on fat and skinny 15 inch genuine Cragar front 205/60/15, Welds rear 295/50/15 near new tyres all round. Included in sale is good 302 cleveland/c10 auto(I will fit this in the car to make transport easier),and the xr is fitted with hoppers stoppers front disc brake upgrade ($1500 upgrade when new). The hard work is done honestly if I didn't need to get out of the workshop due to it being sold out from under me, I could have had her running and complete in 2 weeks. My loss your gain.
Was told by 2 previous owners that it's an original six cylinder cop car. Could not verify with Ford (have email for proof) as they don't have records earlier than 1968, they said to ask local car clubs for these details. I've kept the old passenger floor pan to show extra brackets fitted by the factory.
She's had all rust repaired professionally, including new front floors, rear floor sections, dog legs, lower rear quarters, lower front guard sections and lower front door repairs rear doors are rust free. Currently the XR is done as a rat rod in satin black over etch primer base and putty (easy to rub back basically a guide coat). I was going to keep her as is, as it looks amazing and drop the 302/c10 in.
She comes with most of her interior which is old but possibly usable, has bench seat front and rear and stacks of old parts including, petrol tank, wipers, damaged instrument cluster, glove box, rear windscreen, front window glass, front quarter glass and regulators, headlights.
About 95% complete missing,1/ tailshaft, 2/ carpet, 3/ tail light lenses, 4/ boot and door locks, 5/ fuel line, 6/ needs new brake master cylinder, 7/ rooflining. Honestly these parts are readily available and should be less then $1000 worth.
On 19-Feb-21 at 21:56:28 AEDST, seller added the following information:Comes with many new engine parts like alloy radiator, top and lower radiator hoses, thermostat housing and thermostat, water pump, fuel pump, inlet gaskets and transmission neutral switch and 2 cans of ford blue engine enamel. Also she need an exhaust system ($495 ebay new), and engine mounts ($120 ebay new).
Very reasonable reserve. For the work done and money invested in this project, it would cost you double easy. But not giving her away, it's not a fire sale as she's a great opportunity for a top investment as restored police cars of this vintage are rare.

I will try my local Ford club to see if they have information on XR police cars to verify the original 2 owners story. On 19-Feb-21 at 23:57:15 AEDST, seller added the following information:VIN: JG 21 GC (Geelong) (Falcon sedan) (January, 1967)
The issue is that ford did not start keeping build records until January, 1968 (have ford Australia email to prove). I'll keep researching how to identify 1967 police cars, but if someone know's someone with build identification information on 1967 XR falcons please message me. The VIN show's she would have been a general duties police car, or detectives car if she is. Thanks.
Engine= E = 170 pursuitTrans= N = 3 speed column full synchroTrim= E = ? had blue in itPaint= U = Statesman Grey solid 1[hidden information] (still some under parcel shelf in the boot). On 21-Feb-21 at 23:48:00 AEDST, seller added the following information:Note: I will provide the contact details for the original owner to the winning bidder so you can research the police car possibility. And I'll provide the old passenger front floor with it's unique factory fitted bracket close to the transmission tunnel, could be for speed equipment.
