When was the last time you saw one of these? Ford Anglia 105E coupe, Harry Potter special. Very popular little car back in the day, you hardly see them any more. This one is a 1962 Deluxe, original Spruce Green with red trim, after 57 years the original paint was badly weathered, so I've sanded it back and given it a light coat of primer.
The car is completely unmodified, still retaining its 997cc 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed gearbox, drum brakes all round, bucket seats etc. It's about 98% - 99% complete, just missing some smaller items, but with a bootload of spare parts and many duplicates for you to swap for the parts you do need. Grille is not shown in pics but is included.
Bodywork is actually pretty good given the age of the car and the fact that so many of them rusted away decades ago. Worst rust is in the boot floor and under the back seat, also some around the rear spring hangers, all very fixable if you know what you're doing. Doors are very good, bonnet has a few dints but no major rust, bootlid is near perfect, all glass is included.
This would make an excellent restoration project, Harry Potter tribute car or club racer. The last 2 pics show what is possible with a bit of hard work and imagination. There is a very active local Anglia Facebook owners/enthusiast group I will introduce you to, who would be keen to see the car restored and very willing to help with spare parts and technical advice. Or, just buy it to use as a parts car for your other Anglia.
Make no mistake, the car needs lots of work, but the end result I believe would be worth the effort and expense. Sold as is where is, pictures tell the story.
