Owned by only 2 x mature owners since new. Always garaged and looked after.My dad has owned the car the majority of its life since 1999 and always took special care of it
Overall Excellent paint job on roof, boot, bonnet, doors etc from always being garaged.Its worth having a look at it to see its excellent condition. Photos of vehicle in ad were taken after a simple wash without any polishing. Vehicle has been detailed inside and out since photos so if anything looks even better now.Does have some small marks, scratches & dings you'd expect with its age mainly lower down on plastic body kit fairings from small contacts & a crack in the windscreenbut overall body is in excellent condition for age.Interior also overall in immaculate condition. Rear seats look almost new. Drivers seat only seat with some wear and has a tear in right bolster arm.
Full Factory fitted Tickford Body Kit and spoiler including front lower skirt, rear bar lower skirt, side skirts including door panels and rear spoiler.Just to fit this full body kit on a standard Fairmont Ghia could cost an extra $4k - $5k plus by the time you buy the parts, prepare, labour to install & paint and even then its aftermarket and not a Genuine Tickford factory fitted body kit like this one

Has the Tickford XR6 Higher Output Red engine which came standard on the Luxury Ghia model.

Has brand new bonnet gas struts. Car has great combination of sporty looks, performance with a Luxury interior
Have original Ford Fairmont Owners & Service Manual from when it was originally purchased in 1996 from Sinclair Ford at Penrith
Car is part of a deceased estate
The car was driven to my house just over a year ago and then has been stored there since.It is out of rego and hasn't been started since it was moved so don't know the condition of the engine now. I know my dad had bought a new radiator for it but it was using water so I was told it could have a blown head gasket. Just haven't had the time to look at it myself unfortunately and the battery is low & wont turn it over. Tried to get a mechanic to come and look at it but they were too busy so I'm just selling it as is. Would suit a collector or someone mechanically minded.
It is getting rarer. There wont be many EF/ EF11/ EL Fairmont Ghia's in this condition for its age with Full Factory Tickford body kit, Tickford engine and Ghia top of the range leather interior with sunroof. Is regarded as Vintage in Victoria now and will be vintage in 5 years in NSW allowing cheap club rego. In this configuration values will keep going up if kept in good condition.
