This beautiful car is owned by classic car collector and restorer .
One elderly owner until early 2019 when he passed it on to a friend of his to sell to an appreciative new owner.Equipped at purchase when new with 5-speed manual BTR T5 gearbox, limited slip differential, 'Carryboy' canopy (most expensive canopy package available), ABS tray liner, headlight & bonnet protectors , towbar package and 16" Ford alloy wheels. The purchaser waited until the series 2 model was released before ordering the purchase in December 2000.
Maintained in as near to new condition as possible throughout its life and now with only 125,000km since new.
Still equipped just as it was when new, no modifications, no extra accys, totally unmolested.
Always pampered, always garaged when not in use. Carefully driven , averaging 5,900km per year and with a petrol log book detailing every fuel fill since day 1.
Serviced every 6 months of its life despite the low mileage between services and with Ford log book stamped with all services.
This amazing car came to my attention in 2020 and I purchased it . I have since gone through the car in fine detail and been amazed at how well it has been cared for and maintained and there is NO rust anywhere !I have replaced the pivot bush in the manual gearshift (to fix some freeplay in lever movement), both uni. joints in propeller shaft (to remove slight vibration in driveline), cabin headlining (to fix some headlining lack of adhesion), both front brake calipers (to fix some front end vibration) and have just completed a major service ( last week in fact !). The service has been detailed to show all measurements etc.

and it also includes renewal of engine oil (with flush), oil filter, induction air filter, manual gearbox oil and limited slip differential oil (using all Penrite lubricants).
I have been working full time on the vehicle almost since purchase and now have decided it is far too good to use as a ute (I have need to carry items to maintain my classic cars and I will stick to use of a box trailer ).
As with the previous owner, I would prefer to sell to a classic car collector, bearing in mind that in 9 years time it will be eligible for historic plates and should be an absolutely unique example.
Vehicle comes with sheepskins, car cover, original toolkit (almost unused), history, Ford Owner's Manual, Ford Service log book, petrol log book, 2 sets of keys and remotes, excellent tyres and registration to 14 December 2021. Note that interior picture shows a floor mat on driver's side. The carpet underneath is in perfect condition. The tub liner is totally unmarked and is as new.
